fresh hop beer festival & fall harvest swap
SATURDAY, september 21, 11-9PM
Saturday, September 21: It’s (almost) Fresh Hop season! Our last Block Party of the year might be the most festive, as we celebrate everything we love about the changing of the seasons. We'll be releasing our Fresh Hop beer of 2019, brewed with fresh hops brought over from the Yakima valley, as well as serving a beer hopped with 6 different varieties and pressing apples for cider!
Live music will start at 2:30pm with The High Mountain Stringband and before Sapphire takes the stage at 5:30pm.
As we have every fall, we’ll also be collecting hops from our neighbors and community members to brew for our annual Community Ale. This year will be a bit different - instead of collecting hops before the party, we’ll be asking folks to drop off their hops during the Block Party and we can release the Community Ale in mid-October.
Just like last year, we'll be hosting a free Fall Harvest Produce Swap with the help of the Chuckanut Center and donating a portion of beer proceeds their way! Everyone is encouraged to bring ripe produce from their garden to contribute to the swap and find some delicious fall goodies to take home!
As always, all Stones Throw Block Parties are all-ages, dog friendly, free to attend, and rain or shine!
