Tuesday night, every beer for you can be a beer for the bees! Join us as we host WWU's AS Outback Farm Apiary and help fundraise to expand the program!

All of Tuesday evening, you'll have the opportunity to add a dollar to your purchase of any beer that will go towards the Outback Farm's Apiary fundraising. The Apiary program will be here with more information about the colony collapse disorder and the alarming world-wide effects of the rapid decline of honeybees.

The Outback Farm, a 5-acre organic farm on Western’s campus, is working to reverse this alarming decline and connect students to bees and other pollinator species. They brought honeybees to the Outback in May, and students are excited to work with them and learn about entomology, bee keeping, sustainable business, and environmental stewardship! However, in order to move forward with their vision, the Outback Farm is in need of further funding. As they grow their apiary program, they're looking for supplies to keep the honey bees happy and healthy, tools and resources for the students, materials to teach workshops, and funds to bring speakers to campus.

Stones Throw Brewery is all ages, so come on down and drink a beer (or Ginger Ale) for the bees! New Public Food Truck will be serving up delicious vegan food all night.
