Led with the help of Janelle Pritchard, Stones Throw Brewery is raising money for the Pink Boots Society and hosting a “Big Boots Brew Day.” A team of women in the local craft beer industry have collaborated on a beer recipe and will be brewed at Stones Throw Brewery on International Women’s Day, Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

But when the sun crept through, I was shocked to find that beaches like this (read: bluffs and boulders, the industrial-strength coastline) existed outside of the few northern California hide-aways I grew up near. That this - this - is a National Park in our own backyard.
We figured the best way to celebrate Ski to Sea weekend was to keep it all in the Bellingham family! Even the pig we’re roasting has been feeding on spent grain from the brewery -- it all comes full circle to the Stones Throw extended neighborhood. After all, we did name our first IPA after the neighborhood for good reason.

As the seasons change, we prepare to say goodbye to the good weather, but we’re also excited to welcome the fall and winter months. Soon enough, we’ll be putting away our kayaks, bikes, and camping gear, but at the same time dust off our skis, snowboards, and snowshoes.
