Summer sure has felt good so far! The neighborhood has been buzzing with all this sun out, so we're going to take advantage of all this great weather and invite you all down to the brewery for a BBQ on the 4th of July! And if you haven't heard about our Free Paddle Nights starting in July with the Community Boating Center, then read on!
Celebrate the 4th of July the best way we know how - filling up on good beer and BBQ with your friends and the whole family!
Big Stick BBQ will be here from 3-10pm serving a special holiday dinner plate for two, with the choice of Smoked Beef Short Ribs with a mixed green salad and 2 dinner rolls or their new Smoked Salmon on a bed of greens with house made Claret Vinaigrette and 2 dinner rolls. The full plate for two costs $20 (there will be single plate options as well).
Regular first-Wednesday musician Jan Peters will be here with his Irish quartet playing live music from 7-9:30pm.
This special rack of ribs from Big Stick will have limited supply, so we suggest swinging through before the fireworks! Big Stick has become an integral part of our community in their first year of operation, so we're excited to have them joining us for the holiday!
Tuesday nights are now Pint and Paddle nights at the Community Boating Center with Stones Throw Brewery!
Every Tuesday evening from July 3 through August 14, the CBC will be offering free one-hour rentals of our sit-on-top kayaks, paddleboards, rowboats, and sea kayaks, on a first come, first served basis. After paddling, hangout on the boatyard and enjoy some good company with family friendly activities and games, a beer garden with Stones Throw brews available to purchase, and a rotating food selection. All beer sales go directly to the Community Boating Center!
Come down to the boatyard this summer and get to know your boating neighbors! Stones Throw is excited to be a proud sponsor of safety and education in our boating community!
And save these dates for the next Stones Throw Fall Block Parties! We'll first be celebrating on Saturday, September 8th, with the awesome local nonprofit Shifting Gears! And then, just a little more than a month later when the autumn turns crisp and colorful, we'll be hosting the Hop and Harvest Block Party with the Chuckanut Center on Saturday, October 20th!
All our Block Parties are free to attend, family-friendly, and fun for all ages. And we party rain-or-shine, of course... this is the Northwest! Be sure to swing by the taproom and touch base if you want to volunteer (or email firstname.lastname@example.org) and follow our social media for Block Party updates.
