The season is changing, but there's definitely still time for a Stones Throw Block Party or two! First up will be the Fresh Hop Block Party on Sunday, October 8th, from 11am-8pm. Our Full Moon Block Party follows that and closes out the block party season on November 8.

Fresh Hop Block Party: With proceeds going towards the Chuckanut Center ($1 from every beer), an assortment of Food Trucks and Baby Cakes headlining our music lineup, we're taking advantage of the harvest season and releasing our community-sourced Fresh Hop Beer of the year! We were overwhelmed with hop donations from the community, so you don't want to miss out on this special batch.

We'll be experimenting with six different hop profiles by dry-hopping the same beer recipe with an assortment of hops: Amarillo, Centennial, Cascade, Mount Hood, Simcoe, and Target, so you can really dive into the different profiles from hop-to-hop. We'll even have a beer line hooked straight up to a hop randall, pouring beer directly through the hops!

Also be sure to bring your apples, containers and produce, as we'll have a cider press and community produce swap setup for everyone.

After 8 years of renovations and hard work from volunteers, the Chuckanut Center opened earlier this year as the organization keeping the Fairhaven community garden thriving. Dedicated to growing food, skills, and a resilient community, we're excited to help raise funds for the Chuckanut Center, especially since a handful of the hops we used in the Fresh Hop brew were grown right there, only a few blocks away from us at Stones Throw. As per usual with Stones Throw, it's all about the neighborhood! Swing by the Fresh Hop Block Party on October 8th to support the Chuckanut Center, or click here to donate further to the local nonprofit.

Full Moon Block Party: And there's still more to come! We'll be closing the street down again on Saturday, November 4, from 11-8pm as we celebrate the Full Moon and coming of winter! Live music featuring Bob Fossil, and food trucks including Back East BBQ and Brotha Dudes, and of course - a whole lot of good beer!

As always, Stones Throw Block Parties are family friendly and free!

September 30: We'll be at Vital Climbing Gym's 4th Annual Boulderham!, Come join us, have fun with the competition, and drink some darn tasty and refreshing Gingerale!

October 28: Pumpkin Carving Contest: Keep your eyes peeled for the Stones Throw pumpkin carving contest... follow our social media accounts and the website to learn more as the date nears. Winning pumpkins will be announced at the Full Moon Block Party
