Stones Throw Brewery invites the whole community to join us and help ring in the new year with the neighborhood on December 31, 2017!
Psychedelic Cowboys, the local band fronted by Tom Sandblom and friends, will be playing from 8pm to midnight, and the Back East BBQ food truck will be on site at the brewery to feed the crowd throughout the night as we stay open late into the night to celebrate the festivities.
We will be projecting on a screen in the taproom not one, but two, New Years Eve ball drops: the first at 9pm for the families still wishing to go to bed at a reasonable hour, and then again at midnight. Whether you stay for the east coast ball drop, or show up just in time for the west coast version, the whole family is invited!
As always per Stones Throw events, New Years Eve with the Neighborhood is both an all-ages event and dog friendly. In addition to the usual selection of flagship and rotating beers on tap, We will have a cider on tap and gluten-free beer options in cans. Stones Throw’s non-alcoholic Ginger Ale will also be on tap, as well as an assortment of sodas.
We're lucky to be Chuckanut Drive neighbors with grain supplier and friend of ours, Skagit Valley Malting. And we're also lucky that Tap Trail has written an article about our two communities, connected by the pretty waterside drive! Check that out by clicking Thanks Skagit Valley Malting For Helping Make Our Local Craft Beer Scene!
Tap Trail, the creators of that awesome beer scavenger stamp-hunt you all love, also talked to us about the history of Stones Throw's location in Fairhaven and how we turned a house into a brewery. Want to learn more about who Miss Annie is, and why she has a parking spot reserved for her in front of the brewery? Tap Trail has you covered, click on Miss Annie's Palace to have her lead the way!
And don't forget, Christmas season is coming... For those in our community who still need stocking stuffers for their loved ones.... we got you covered! Cheers and Happy Holidays!
